 3D HandRoller- F23n

The TONA® 3D printed plastic rollers are perfect for embossing in PolymerClay (FIMO®), but of course also for ceramic applications and complement the larger hand rollers made of wood.
A handy size of about 8.5 cm in length and the diameter of 25mm guaranteed easy application and fine structures.
The roller is solid and very heavy and stable for its compactness.
In the axle there is a grommet to optionally mount a handle (as in the photos).
The difference to the wooden scooters is, apart from the material, that the plastic scooters, in relation to the size, can reproduce an incredibly fine structure. However, with the disadvantage that these structures can clog with material when embossing. The bars in this type of rollers are vertical and tear faster when rolling material.
The wooden rollers and also the wooden stamps are carved with V-shaped knives (cutters) and this makes it much easier for the ridges to separate from the clay.
Cornstarch and baby powder are proven ways to reduce the effect with PolymerClay. With clay, if possible, let the clay dry a bit and then roll it forward with feeling and evenly. A good aid is a sturdy sawed wooden slat about 30-40cm long and 6cm wide, with which, guided at both ends, the roller is moved forward evenly.
With a little practice, you get "impressive" results in this way.
Size approx. 85mm length / 25mm diameter
