Mandala-M1
Our partly handmade mandala stamps are available in 4 sizes to choose from.
They are compatible with standard tile cutters from the ceramist need and perfect to combine with each other.
The beautiful motifs are very complex to make and therefore a bit more expensive than our other stamps. Also, the stamps must have a minimum size to bring the fine structures to full advantage.
Our mandala stamps are, in contrast to the often offered 3D printing stamps made of plastic, deeply milled and have beveled bars. So they can be easily detached from clay and the embossings look incredibly plastic.
The clay stamps are made of solid hardwood: cherry, beech, oak, etc., come from sustainable, European timber industry and are made in Germany.
We ship plastic-free and all packaging is compostable.
If needed, clean with warm water and let dry slowly. You can maintain them again with linseed oil afterwards.
This way they will last for generations.
Very clear results on clay are achieved when the clay is a little drier and no longer smears. Then use a rubber mallet to carefully and evenly tap the stamp into the clay.
With a little practice, you can achieve perfect embossing in plates this way. But of course, many other ways work as well, such as pouring food starch into a light sock (or similar) and dusting the surfaces to be stamped with it a bit. This is a great way to use the stamp on very fresh clay.
It also works well on polymer clay for jewelry making.
