Discover our handmade wooden stamps in Scandinavian design, available in different sizes. These stamps are ideal for use with standard ceramic tile cutters and are great for combining with each other.
Our wooden stamps feature deeply milled, beveled ridges that make for incredibly vivid embossing compared to the plastic 3D printing stamps that are often offered. The solid hardwood used to make the stamps is sourced from sustainable, European timber (FSC certified) and includes cherry, beech and oak. They are manufactured in Germany.
We place great emphasis on sustainability and ship our products plastic-free. The packaging is compostable and designed to be environmentally friendly.
To clean our wooden stamps, we recommend warm water followed by slow drying. For maintenance, treat the stamps with linseed oil or TUNGOIL to preserve them for generations.
For best results on clay, we recommend letting the clay dry a bit and tapping the stamp gently and evenly into the clay with a rubber mallet. With a little practice, you will succeed in making perfect embossments in plates. Alternatively, you can put cornstarch in a light sock (or similar) and dust it on the surfaces to be stamped to make it easy to use the stamp even when the clay is very fresh. Our wooden stamps are also ideally suited for jewelry making on polymer clay.
